On Sunday we spent the day at Nana's house. Hannah, Emma, Caleb, Teri, T.J. and Steve took a long walk through Side Cut Metro Park to enjoy the fall afternoon.
The kids struggled to stay on the path. They took every opportunity to wonder off to explore the nature around them. Caleb searched for the perfect walking stick and Emma hunted for her favorite plant, the "Lamb's Ear". She loves to rub the fuzzy hairs on the leaves. We walked down the Toe Path, around Silver Lake and crossed over to hike up the Locks and to the Anderson Bird Pavilion.
