Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

This year we all, except Hannah, sick and laying around the house. We had one with pink-eye, a few with the flu and we all had a terrible cough. Even Caleb didn't get out of bed until noon on Christmas. It made all the holiday running around that much more challenging. The kids all got what they wanted. The majority having to do with, music, video games and electronics. We did manage to sneak in a few outfits to update the ever-growing girls.

Grace was a trooper during her first visit with Santa at the Koralewski Christmas party on Christmas Eve. The kids had fun playing with their cousins and so did the grown ups.
Hannah spent her first New Year's Eve away from home at a friend's house. The rest of us stayed home and we had some friends over to play games and celebrate the new year.

First Snow Day

Hannah, Emma and Caleb enjoy the first snow fall in Perrysburg this year. To bad it was a weekend or they would have been off of school. They all spent several hours out in the neighborhood with the neighbor kids. Luckily mom and dad just finished racking the leaves two days before. Now we have a leaf pile in the middle of snow piles at the curb.

Grace enjoys an early Christmas present and keeps warm in the house while her brother and sisters play outside.

"Holiday" Concerts

Over the last week we have had the pleasure to visit the kids schools to watch there "Holiday" concerts. Of course we no longer celebrate Christmas in our politically correct society, it is more like a Hona-Rama-Kwanz-Mas. Oh how I miss the South where Christmas was Christmas and everyone else just delt with it. To the left you can see Emma in her concert. It was probably one of the better ones we have attended at Frank Elementry. She was all dolled up and loves being on the stage. Next we have Hannah who played in her first Orchastra concert in Jr. High. Unfortunately we were unable to see her pretty face from the seats we were in. Caleb and Emma join Mema and I for the exciting event. By the way, Caleb is not a big fan of the orchasta. Remind me not to bring him to the next concert. Hannah has definately improved from the last year; however, she is quite bored in her class. She wants to perform more challanging music but, the rest of the kids are not ready. Caleb didn't have a concert this Christmas, I mean "Holiday", the kindergardeners have to wait until the Spring Concert. We can't wait to see him on stage.

Grace's Dedication

On Saturday November 24th Grace was dedicated at church. We had a small group of friends and family join us for the occasion. Above is a picture of Pastor Lee with Grace as he introduces her to the congregation before he prays for her and our family. Below her big brother, Caleb, holds her as mom and dad escort the guess to their seats.

Happy Thanksgiving

Once againg this Thanksgiving the Koralewski men (and boys) headed over to Uncle Rick's for our annual Thanksgiving day Turkey Bowl. It was a suprisingly mild morning and the ground was quite soft from the recent rain we recieved. It was a good thing for those who took a spill during the game. It was a higher scoring game than than normal will several long TDs throughout the game. Most were thrown by this year's MVP Rick. Holding to tradition, we had one injury early into the game. Uncle Jim had to step out with a knee injury while jumping over Fred as he scrambled for the first down.
We wish you a enjoyable Thanksgiving holiday!

Fall Adventure

On Sunday we spent the day at Nana's house. Hannah, Emma, Caleb, Teri, T.J. and Steve took a long walk through Side Cut Metro Park to enjoy the fall afternoon. The kids struggled to stay on the path. They took every opportunity to wonder off to explore the nature around them. Caleb searched for the perfect walking stick and Emma hunted for her favorite plant, the "Lamb's Ear". She loves to rub the fuzzy hairs on the leaves. We walked down the Toe Path, around Silver Lake and crossed over to hike up the Locks and to the Anderson Bird Pavilion.

Trick or Treat

This year we spent Halloween at Mary and Brian's house with all our parents. Here is a photo of the kids with Sophia. Since daylight savings time was changed this year, we trick or treated in the daylight for the first hour or so. It did not feel right to the older kids.

Sophia enjoyed the night with all her cousins.

Grandma and Grandpa Hanna Celebrate 60 years

On October 20th the Hanna family came together to celebrate Grandma and Grandpa's 60th wedding anniversary. We started at St. Patrick's of Heatherdowns church with mass and then went to Aunt Pat's house for dinner and fellowship.

We all laughed as Grandpa stuffed cake in Grandma's face as they feed each other their anniversary cake.

Highlights of the night included a wonderful video of pictures celebrating both of their lives and all their children, grand and great-grand children. The majority of the adults played Texas-Hold'em until the early morning. Of coarse Grandma was on top, sharing the prize money with Melanie.

Getting ready for Halloween

So Jamey could not resist this cute caterpillar costume for Grace. She wasn't really into it at first but, was able to show us her beautiful smile at the end. We can't wait to take her out with the rest of the kids.

I'm going to give this a try.

Okay, I am totally new at this and am just playing around for now. Here is a picture of the kids from last month. It is amazing that they are all growing so fast. I swear that Grace will be crawling soon.
